Though its full potential has yet to be realized or even understood, some people in the industry were already thinking of innovative ways to advance the state of the internet.

3DML is the other technology that can be used to create 3d websites, invented by Michael Powers in 1996. 3DML is another way of creating 3d web sites, using an xml-like markup language.
